2024, The Year of Big Change? Small Change? No Change?

 I'm hesitant to make some sweeping generalized statement about how next year  will be different . I've tried that before, and only one of the years did I mostly succeed by having monthly challenges. While 30 days seems to be the sweet spot for me to focus on a hobby, I'm disappointed that outside of that month, my progress stalls. I still have mostly the same hobbies - exercise, hiking, music composition, playing musical instruments, photography, painting, playing board games, playing video games, cooking and reading. That doesn't include the things I want to continue professionally, like Power BI, general data visualization, Data Warehousing and Azure. I could work a full time job on just a handful of these hobbies! Knowing I'll still have a full time job for quite a while, how should I keep progressing with hobbies throughout the year? I have a few productivity books I'd like to read in 2024, so perhaps they will allow me to change any plans I come up with, b...
